Zotero is a free, open-source software that helps you store, organize, and cite your sources. Check out this video for why you should invest the time into this tool, and view other videos on our channel for installation, set up, and use instructions.
If it has been a while since you last went to school, you may want to check out our user guides on online tools like Canvas, Panopto, and Zoom.

Occasionally, you will run across resources that we do not have. Take these steps to get your hands on what you need:
If here in town:
1. Do a search in the Prospector or Marmot catalogs (these are our shared library systems-- you can request from any of these libraries that has an item available and they will send it to us).
2. If not there, you may have to put in an Interlibrary Loan request (these may take longer, as we must wait for a library with that resource to respond to us).
If not in town:
1. Visit a library that is local to you. Get a free library card, and ask them about their interlibrary loan and library group borrowing-- most Colorado public libraries participate in sharing programs.
2. Place requests from any library and have resources shipped to that library.
Send requests directly to Melissa Huang (mhuang@iwu.edu). More often than not, she can find access through other libraries or request systems. If not, she can help place an interlibrary loan request.
