Memorial Plaque Dedication for Dr. Peterson

On Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 3pm, a memorial plaque for Dr. John Peterson was unveiled in the library. The plaque is located on our first floor in the Computer Science lab which was affectionately dubbed the Nerd Corner by Dr. Peterson. Dr. Peterson would spend hours with students in the Nerd Corner every Wednesday night. Usually, he would remain in the library helping students until we closed at midnight!

We are honored to house this memorial plaque for our dear friend Dr. Peterson. Though we miss him, his spirit lives on in our library and on our campus.

The dedication event brought many people from around campus. Dr. Bob Cohen, Dr. Daniel Schuster, and Marti Peterson all shared memories.
