Library Building Updates!

We've been busy in the library!

We spent a lot of time rearranging furniture to be more functional and aesthetically pleasing. We hope you like the updates! In addition to rearranging spaces, we also bought some new furniture and carpet!

First up...our new carpet on the main floor! We hope you love it as much as we do!

Check out our new and improved Mural Room! Rearrange and combine our new tables and chairs to make the perfect work area for your group! We also added 7 single-person desks with desktop electrical outlets. Charge your phone or plug in your laptop while you work!

On the 3rd floor we added 5 individual study pods. These pods feature a desk and chair, a desktop power port, including USB charging, and 5-foot tall, sound-dampening partitions.

We also have 10 brand new "Bring Your Own Device" stations. Hook up your laptop and work on a larger monitor. These stations also provide USB ports, a keyboard, and a mouse.

In the main floor open computer lab & the West Wing computer lab, we have new All-In-One computers. These stations provide USB ports, an SD port, and a CD drive.

Our Classroom Computer Lab has moved from room 121 to room 102. Contact Renée (rbarney@western.edu) to discuss a scheduling a library workshop!

Students, did you know you have a club boardroom in the library? It's true! It's open and available for anyone to use. You may also reserve it.

You'll also notice that there are several more whiteboards around the library. Feel free to move them around as needed. And just ask if you need markers, erasers, or board cleaner.
