To create citations in the Science format, you'll need:

  • Journals: Author name(s), title of article, abbreviated title of the journal, volume number, page number(s), publication year.
  • Books: Author/Editor name(s), title of the book, publisher name, publisher location, edition number (if applicable), publication year.
    • Chapters of edited books and books with no publication information have special rules. See the Science website for information.
