Using this Guide

Welcome to the Leslie J. Savage Faculty Resources Guide! 

The Faculty Resources guide includes information about Online Instruction (pedagogical resources), Content Delivery (Zoom and more), and Accessibility at Western. 

The Canvas page contains information on Canvas basics and getting started, as well as advanced topics within grading, organization, engagement and communication, and more.

The Panopto page contains information on installing and using Panopto in Canvas. 

Online Definitions describes the definition of specific online learning terminology, as developed by the Online Education department and adopted by Academic Affairs. 

Remote Services

Scan and Deliver - let us know which pages, images, or chapters from our print collection, including reserve texts, and we will create a digital scan and send it to you.  Please contact Katie Crawford with scanning requests.

Licensing Audio Visual content - Contact Tiffanie Wick with streaming film or audio file requests.

One-on-One Assistance - we are available via phone, email, Teams, and Zoom. Your Instructional Designer and Librarians are here to help with course creation, resource integration, embedding content, online pedagogy, resource recommendations, and fulfillment.
